KUWAIT CITY, Aug 1: Customs officers at T5 terminal of Kuwait International Airport foiled the attempt of an Asian expatriate to smuggle one kilogram of hashish, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
A member of the Customs Media Committee Nawaf Al-Matar explained that an experienced customs officer suspected the passenger who arrived at the airport and checked his luggage manually to find the hashish which was divided into a number of small pieces and placed in a carton. The suspect was arrested and referred with the confiscated hashish to the concerned authorities for further investigations
