1.2 million Captagon pills, 250 kgs of hashish and 104 kgs of meth smuggling attempt foiled

 KUWAIT CITY, Jan 1: Under the supervision of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, Acting Minister of Defense and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Interior foiled two smuggling attempts of 1.2 million pills of Captagon, 250 kgs of hashish and 104 kgs of Crystal Meth.  

In the first seizure, the General Administration for Drug Control, in cooperation and coordination with the General Administration of the Coast Guard, managed to seize a large amount of narcotic hashish, around 250 kilograms, two people tried to bring into the country by sea.

In the second seizure, 104 kilograms of Crystal Meth (Shabu), and 1,200,000 Captagon pills was confiscated. Three people tried to smuggle them to Kuwait by hiding them in an innovative secret way through one of the sea ports.
