The following is the official US Embassy press statement regarding the stabbing incident that took place March 10. — Editor
As the US Embassy’s Security Message states, a US citizen was stabbed March 10 in Fintas. We have no indication that this incident was terrorist related We take our obligation to assist US citizens seriously. We stand ready to provide all appropriate consular assistance. Due to privacy considerations, we cannot provide details about the victim.
