KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Two Syrian expatriates dressed in national clothes were arrested by security operatives for pestering girls at a commercial complex in Rai area. One of the girls had notified securitymen at the commercial complex about the two ‘catcallers’ and their description was given to the police. The officers found on them pieces of paper with their phone numbers while conducting precautionary search on them. They were referred to the area police station for questioning. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti lady lodged a complaint with officers at Zahra Police Station against a man who sent her photos and love letters and tried to incite her to immorality. He provided the phone number of the man to the police. Necessary measures were taken to invite him for questioning. A case was registered.
