Top Municipality officials called in ‘fraud’ probe

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 6: The Municipal Council said the Public Prosecution has summoned a number of senior officials of the Kuwait Municipality and the Municipal Council against the background of accusing a secretary for manipulating fingerprints attendance system for the benefit of an employee who is holding a supervisory position in the council, reports Al-Qabas daily. The source indicated the expatriate secretary who has already left the country will mean many questions will remain unanswered such as the names of persons who colluded with him and the names of those who facilitated him to leave the country.
