Body of the Sri Lankan expatriate found hanging from the tree
KUWAIT CITY, May 31: A Sri Lankan expatriate committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Ardiya area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the incident, securitymen rushed to the location and found the man hanging from the tree with a rope noosed around his neck. The corpse was pulled down with the help of officers from the General Department of Criminal Evidences, and referred to the Forensics Department. The details of the deceased were checked to discover he is a Sri Lankan expatriate. Necessary action was taken.Drug peddlers held: Criminal Security Men arrested two Kuwaitis for peddling in illicit drugs and seized 200 grams of heroin and Shabu in their possession. A security source said officers from Criminal Security Sector received report about the activities of two citizens who peddled in narcotics and placed them under surveillance. Guarded by search and arrest warrant, security operatives raided the apartments of the two suspects after confirming validity of the report and recovered 120 grams of heroin and 80 grams of Shabu respectively.
