Municipality workers removing dried out trees painting an ugly picture on the streets
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: Director of General Department for Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy at Hawally Municipality Talal Al-Aqab revealed that the department launched a campaign targeting shops which resulted in the issuance of ten citations over violations ranging from occupying extra space in the manner of obstructing roads to violating the hygiene rules, reports Al-Seyassah daily.He revealed that seven warnings were issued against violating buildings and six warning stickers were placed on cars that were displayed in public areas for sale. Meanwhile, Director of Engineering License Department at Hawally Municipality Jassem Al-Khaddar explained that 546 transactions were completed in August.They included transactions for issuance of 27 new construction licenses, 14 for additional constructional works, 40 for issuance of renovation licenses, two for issuance of farming licenses, 15 for issuance of demolition licenses and eight for reform licenses. In addition, the data of two licenses were modified. In addition, the Investment Department completed 25 transactions and 411 others.
