KUWAIT CITY, Aug 16 (Agencies): Several companies, shops and commercial markets have been increasing the prices of their commodities without the approval of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, taking advantage of the contradicting decisions of the ministry, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting informed sources.
They explained that the ministry had issued a decision No. 146 on April 10, 2016 to freeze the prices of goods and services. Within three months of that decision, the ministry issued another decision No. 307/2016 to cancel the previous decision to freeze the prices. The sources indicated that the local markets will try to increase the prices in the coming period due to the decision to increase the fuel prices.
