Sheikh Talal offers condolences to Al-Rashidi’s family

KUWAIT CITY, May 28: The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid offered condolences to the family of the late citizen Mubarak Al-Rashidi, whose funeral took place on Saturday, and said, “Mubarak’s blood is in safe hands,” reports Al-Qabas daily.

Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid told the father of the victim Mubarak Al-Rashidi, “My sincere condolences to you. May Allah reward you. We are all your children,” referring to Kuwait, the country of law and justice where the law applies to everyone, and the perpetrators will be punished.

He added, “We will neither abandon the people of Kuwait, nor will we leave them”.

Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid affirmed that drug dealers will be besieged and will not escape punishment.

He called on Allah for help in eradicating this scourge in order to preserve the youth of Kuwait.

Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid said, “Kuwait’s youth are our precious wealth, and we will not hesitate to protect them. We have officers in the Ministry of Interior who deal firmly to protect Kuwait and our youth from the scourge of drugs.

So as not to complicate matters, the late Mubarak Al-Rashidi has nothing to do with the drug issue that we are talking about, but we are talking in general about this deadly scourge.”

He called on the people of Kuwait to cooperate in combating this negative phenomenon, stressing that every citizen is a sentinel.

Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid asked Allah to shower the deceased with his mercy and bless his family and relatives with patience and solace.

It is worth highlighting that on Saturday, Lawyer Nasser Al-Ajmi, who is the lawyer of the family of Mubarak Al-Rashidi, had announced the funeral of the deceased after the Asr prayer at the Sulaibikhat cemetery.

In a post on his personal Twitter account, he said the forensic evidence report is ready, all procedures have been completed, and the burial permit is ready.

On Friday, the Ministry of Interior announced in a statement, “Based on instructions from the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid to continue the search and investigations to find the missing Mubarak Al-Rashidi, the officers of the Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, managed to find his body in Salmi area after a great effort by the security services.
