Several loopholes detected in airport security

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 12:The authority in the Interior Ministry overseeing the performance of the personnel at the Kuwait International Airport have spotted several loopholes and sent a report to the Assistant Undersecretary for Ports Affairs.
The report stated the metal detectors are defective and have been out of order since Aug 3 and has not been repaired yet. One of the gates does not operate properly and some employees enter the arrival hall without being inspected.
