KUWAIT CITY, May 29: The Residence Investigation, Public Security and Rescue Police have arrested 24 violators of residence and labor laws during a security check in Salmiya and Hawally, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, 21 violators of different nationalities were seized from Salmiya, and three street vendors were picked up from Hawally.

The seized items.

They were caught for selling vegetables and electronic devices in front of a mosque. In another incident the daily said, the security authorities also seized narcotics and alcohol in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Sea City and Port Abdullah area and referred the suspects to the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Rescue Police (Southern Roads Security Department) seized two persons in possession of 18 bottles of alcohol, and they and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities.
