UWAIT CITY, March 20: The Administrative Court has instructed the chairperson of the Central System for Remedying the Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR) to renew the security cards of the members of a family who have been living in Kuwait since before 1965,indicating in the citizenship section that they are Bedouns. Attorney Ali Al-Ali filed the lawsuit on the behalf of the family who previously obtained security cards from the CSRSIR. However, the CSRSIR refused to renew the cards, claiming that the father holds Iraqi citizenship.Al-Ali argued the allegation has not been proven true, pointing out the family members received security cards issued legally by the CSRSIR. He said the cards have been expired since 2014 but the CSRSIR did not renew them. He added the family members obtained passports stating they are Bedouns. He stressed the CSRSIR violated laws and ignored facts when it refused to renew the cards.By Jaber Al-Hamoud/Munaif Nayef Al-Seyassah Staff and Agencies K
