‘Remove barrier in parking lot’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: MP Ahmad Al- Fadhel has urged Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to order the removal of the barrier put in place by one of the imams in West Mishref in the parking lot of a mosque in the area, as this barrier is preventing worshippers from using some parking spaces, reports Al-Shahed daily.

MP Al-Fadhel said he received several reports in this regard along with evidences which prove that an imam made an absurd move of installing a barrier in the car parking lot of a mosque in Mishref area to indicate that the parking spots are allocated for him and those within his close circle only.

In the letter to the minister, the lawmaker requested for the removal of the barrier in order to make way for the worshippers, along with a request to transfer the Imam and his kind to any mosque in Salmi area so that he can put his hands on whatever he wants.
