Two special programs pay tribute to Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, March 10: A special National Day and Liberation Day transmission was organized by Radio Kuwait Urdu Service to celebrate 61 Years of Kuwait Independence and 31 Years of Liberation in a colorful style. Two special programs were arranged and broadcasted to mark the special days with full enthusiasm. Programs Titled as “We Love Kuwait” and “Kuwait- A Center of Humanitarian Work” was broadcasted on 25th and 26th February, Respectively to mark the National Days by Radio Kuwait Urdu Service. The whole team of RKFM worn the traditional Kuwait costumes on these occasions. Special Messages were included by Faisal Majeed; chargé d’affaires and Farrukh Amir Sial; Community Welfare Attaché from Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait and wellknown community figures from Pakistani and Indian community.

They extended their well wishes for Kuwaiti rulers, government and citizens. They praised all the efforts by Kuwaiti government and all their departments to combat COVID-19 Pandemic. They urged their citizens to celebrate the Kuwait National Day keeping MOH SOPs and abiding the Kuwait Laws. Many Well-Known Community Figures from Pakistan and India also participated through Live Calls and Messages to extend their greetings to Kuwait Govt and Citizens on this occasion.

Programs were hosted by Radio Kuwait Urdu Service Announcers, Nida Mirza and Razia Ashraf, Abdullah Abbasi, Sheikh Siffat Alam Zubair, Barkat Khan whereas Aboobacker Payyoli was coordinator and Anees Backer was the Sound Engineer of the show. The program was headed by Shejoun Al Sabah (Director of Programs, Foreign Services) and Shejoun Al Marshoud (supervisor of programs, foreign services). At the end of the broadcast, Dua was offered for the progress and prosperity of Kuwait. Radio Kuwait wishes you a very happy national and liberation day, May the Kuwait flag always fly high.
