KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: The Council of Ministers is studying a number of projects to give including giving the Kuwaiti citizens financial benefits equivalent to their counterparts working in the government sector as it continues its Kuwaitization policy, reports Al-Jarida daily. The daily said the government also plans to stop issuing work permits for expatriates who earn huge salaries and who can be replaced by Kuwaitis as part of its plan to support national workers in the private sector. The daily quoting Deputy Director- General at the Public Authority for Manpower for National Labor Affairs Sultan Al-Shalani said 12,000 jobs will be created for citizens in the private sector over the next two years.
