KUWAIT CITY: President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte will visit Kuwait in October after Ministry of Foreign Affairs set a date for his visit to the country, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to informed sources, the visit will involve several talks mainly concerning the file of Filipino workers in Kuwait and relevant regulations for the future.

The joint committee of Kuwait and the Philippines, which was formed after preparing the relevant agreement, will hold a meeting soon to discuss the actions taken on the file, the situation of Filipino workers, and the rights granted to them in accordance with the agreements that were signed recently
