KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: The Court of Appeals has ordered the Public Authority for Handicapped Affairs to pay outstanding benefits and allowances to a Kuwaiti woman who has been living with medium movement and major physical disability from birth.According to the lawsuit filed by the plaintiff’s counsel Attorney Ali Al- Ali, the woman was registered with the authority for permanent medium movement disability and she has major physical disability from birth. She applied at the authority with all the necessary documents in line with law number 8/2010 concerning the rights of the handicapped.Al-Ali explained his client requested for payment of her entitlements retroactively from the date of birth. He declared that it became inevitable to file a case after waiting for over 60 days without success. It will be recalled that the Court of First Instance previously ruled in favor of the plaintiff, but the defendant did not comply with the order.By Jaber Al-Hamoud Al-Seyassah Staff
