Moreover, a number of MPs submitted a request to discuss the Domestic Workers Law on Tuesday after deliberating on the grilling of Al-Sabeeh.

The MPs stressed in their request that the remarkable increase in the cost of hiring domestic workers and difficulty in communicating with representatives of these workers worsened the problem; adding to the burdens of Kuwaiti families and expatriates who bear the financial, administrative and legal consequences.

Also, Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim chaired the Parliament Office meeting on Monday. Parliament Observer Nayef Al-Mirdas said the office decided to invite the chairperson of the Central System for Remedying the Status of Illegal Residents (CSRSIR) to its meeting on Feb 5, 2018 to review the latest developments regarding the naturalization of Bedouns.
