KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: Interior Minister Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali said no contract has been signed with the Israeli company Cyber Intelligence for Global Security (NSO Group) that provides the Pegasus system for spying on smart phones, noting that instructive bulletins are sent to government agencies on a continuous basis on the procedures to be followed to help prevent hacking and electronic espionage, reports Al- Rai daily.

Al-Ali in response to a parliamentary query submitted by MP Mohalhal Al- Mudhaf, “There are warning bulletins that include the most important gaps in electronic systems that can be exploited and how to prevent them, in addition to the cyber threat bulletins, which include the most important cyber threats targeting electronic systems and individuals, the method of detecting them, and how they were sent and prevented.”
