KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: The Ministry of Health stated that the approval of vaccinated certificates for COVID 19 issued outside Kuwait is carried out through Internet link (electronic link) specified for Ministry of Health and not through any department in the Ministry.

Sources stated that the committee will review to find a mechanism to approve vaccination certificates for Gulf nationals or visa holders who are prohibited from traveling to Kuwait without obtaining green signal on immunity application, they cannot register in the application and travel as they do not have a Kuwait civil id number, reports Al Rai. Those who have completed vaccination inside Kuwait or have a certificate of vaccination taken abroad which has been checked and approved can enter Kuwait without requiring to stay in a third country before arriving in Kuwait.

The Ministry of Health is preparing detailed instructions regarding health procedures for travelers (Kuwaitis and Expats) to be circulated by DGCA and the procedures of application to avoid confusion.
