MoH announces work timings of all clinics during Ramadan

KUWAIT CITY, June 7: Director of Primary Health Department at Ministry of Health Dr Rehab Al-Watyan has declared the work timings of all clinics throughout Kuwait during the Holy Month of Ramadan. She explained that the medical centers in Ahmadi Governorate will be open throughout the week including Fridays and Saturdays.

Medical centers such as Fahaheel Medical Center, Riqqa Medical Center, Adan Medical Center, Ali Sabah Al-Salem Medical Center, West Sabahiya Medical Center, Wafra Medical Center, Khairan Medical Center, Bnaider Medical Center, Dhahar Medical Center, Fintas Medical Center, West Mubarak Al-Kabeer Medical Center, Hadiya Medical Center and Abu Fateera Medical Center will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight seven days a week.

Some medical centers such as Ahmadi Medical Center, Jaber Al-Ali Medical Center, East Mubarak Al-Kabeer Medical Center, Abu Halifa Medical Center, East Sabahiya Medical Center, Adan Medical Center, Fahd Al-Ahmad Medical Center and Egaila Medical Center will work on 2 shifts — one in the morning and other in the night.

Masayel Medical Center will work only morning shift and Sabah Al-Ahmad Medical Center will be open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Regarding Farwaniya Governorate, Dr Al- Watyan said Menahi Al-Esaimi Medical Center, South Ardiya Medical Center, Sabah Al-Nasser Medical Center, Andalous Medical Center, and South Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Medical Center will work from 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight. She revealed that North Jleeb Medical Center, Riggae Medical Center, Meteb Al-Shalahi Medical Center, North Ardiya Medical Center, North Firdous Medical Center, Nahda Medical Center, Andalous Medical Center, Southern Khaitan Medical Center, Rehab Medical Center and Omariya Medical Center will work on two shifts from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 7:30 pm to 12:00 midnight.

Dr Al-Watyan stressed that the medical centers in North Firdous, Andalous, Riggae, South Khaitan, North Ardiya, Meteb Al-Shalahi, Rehab and Omariya will be open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for providing insulin injections. Regarding Hawally Governorate, she explained that the medical centers of Zahra, North Sabah Al- Salem, West Hawally, Mahmoud Haidar and Bayan will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight.

Sheikh Nasser Saoud Al-Sabah Medical Center, Mishref Medical Center and Shuhada Medical Center will work on two shifts from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. She revealed that Salwa Medical Center, Rumaithiya Medical Center, South Sabah Al- Salem Medical Center, Salaam Medical Center and West Salmiya Medical Center will be open 24 hours a day.

Concerning Jahra Governorate, Dr Al-Watyan explained that the medical centers of Oyoun, Taima, Naseem, Naeem, and Saad Al-Abdullah Block 5 and Block 10 will be working on two shifts. Waha and South Sulaibiya medical centers will be open from 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight. North Sulaibiya Medical Center will be operating only during the morning shift. Jahra Medical Center, Qasr Medical Center, Abdali Medical Center, Saad Al-Abdullah Block 2 Medical Center will be open 24/7.
