MoE gets green light to recruit expat teachers

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: The Ministry of Education has obtained approval from the Civil Service Commission to recruit non-Kuwaiti teachers for academic year 2023/2024, reports Al-Jarida daily. On its social media accounts, the ministry announced that it has started receiving applications through its website. In its announcement, the ministry said it needs non-Kuwaiti teachers with university qualifications for local contracting to work in general education schools.

The vacant teaching positions are for male teachers specialized in English, French, Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Philosophy, Arabic and Computer. It added that the children of Kuwaiti women married to non- Kuwaitis, graduates of the College of Education and Basic Education, public and private universities in Kuwait should apply; while the decoration teaching position is only for children of Kuwaiti women married to non- Kuwaitis.

Meanwhile, the female teachers should be specialized in Arabic, English, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics; in addition to those specialized in Computer, but this position is open only for the children of Kuwaiti women married to non-Kuwaitis who graduated from universities in the country
