In a speech delivered on the sidelines of the annual training course on ways to care for the elderly, Al- Huwaidi said clinics have been established in all health zones for the category, and medical personnel in their various specialties — including doctors, nurses and technicians are required for the treatment of elderly people.
She pointed out that the course aims to present information about elderly people and locations of the clinics that provide them health services, while shedding light on early diagnoses of common diseases affecting the elderly in particular. She reiterated the national strategy (2016-2020) aims at providing premium health services to the elderly.
