Kuwaitis urged to steer clear of expected protest in Frankfurt

BERLIN, Aug 12: Kuwait’s Consulate in Germany’s Frankfurt appealed on Thursday to its nationals to keep away from an area in the city, expected to witness an unlicensed protest the following day. The consulate urged Kuwaitis to avoid the area where a protest, described by German police as “dangerous”, will be staged, said a consulate statement. The area may see acts of violence and rioting, according to the statement. It advised Kuwaiti nationals not to hesitate to call the consulate if in need of assistance, on (+49)520-800-1100.(KUNA)
