Kuwaiti youths stab compatriot in fight

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: Police have arrested nine young Kuwaitis for assaulting and stabbing a young compatriot in the head, reports Al-Rai daily.

The youth has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the Mubarak Al-Kabir Hospital. The wound in the head needed 17 stitches, according to sources. During interrogation the suspects are said to have admitted to the charge.

They said they beat the young man and stabbed him because of an earlier dispute. The even reportedly said he deserves more than that.

In the meantime, a security source said police when paramedics rushed to Hawalli, where the fight took place, they found the youth lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
