Kuwaiti woman invents machine

KUWAIT CITY, May 3: Eng Afrah Al-Mutairi, a young Kuwaiti woman, entered the world of inventions through the door of electronics engineering, reports Al-Anba daily.
Speaking to the daily, Al-Mutairi revealed her first invention is called ‘PCB Milling Machine’ which she considers the initial step towards the realization of her dream to make the first Kuwaiti electronic product (made in Kuwait).
She explained the machine, which is the first of its kind in the Arab world, prints e-circles being used in the electronics industry with high level of accuracy and the ability to compete with the biggest international companies in this field.
