Kuwaiti stabs to death his compatriot over money row

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: A 28-year old Kuwaiti man was arrested for stabbing his 36-year old Kuwaiti neighbor to death in Firdous area, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the incident, Farwaniya securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and found the 1981-born Kuwaiti citizen dead. They immediately arrested the suspect and confiscated the knife that he used to commit the crime.

During interrogations, the suspect revealed that a quarrel broke out between them over a financial issue, and during the quarrel, he pulled out a knife and stabbed the man. The corpse was referred to the Forensics Department a case was registered.

Necessary action was taken to refer the suspect to the Public Prosecution. Ministry of Interior ordered to transfer the family members of the murder suspect to an undisclosed location so that they do not become victims of any scheme based on revenge.
