KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: The Firdous police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti who was armed with a knife and threatened to stab the members of his family, reports Al-Rai daily. When the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a report that the man was holding his family hostage inside the house, police and paramedics rushed to the spot and discovered the man suffers from psychological disorders.
The daily also said the man has a file at the Psychiatric Hospital, reports Al-Rai daily. The police calmed the man and somehow succeeded in disarming him and took him to the area police station, filed a case against him and handed him over to the Psychiatric Hospital.
