Kuwaiti gets 6 months prison with hard labor over girlfriend swindling

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: The Misdemeanors Section in the Court of Appeals sentenced a citizen to six months in prison with hard labor for swindling his girlfriend, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Case files indicate that the couple agreed on entering a business venture and the accused promised to marry her upon completion of the project.
The woman handed over the investment money to the accused in installments, but the latter did not do his part of the agreement. The Public Prosecution charged the accused with swindling and extortion.
