KUWAIT CITY, July 18: Director of Air Cargo Mutlaq Turki Al- Anzi, said an unidentified citizen has been taken into custody for attempting to smuggle a kilogram of chemical from China hidden inside personal belongings via an air parcel, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the suspect was arrested when he came to collect the parcel and has been referred to the competent authorities.
A customs source the Director-General of the General Administration of Customs, Suleiman Al-Fahd, has given strict instructions to follow up on incoming parcels to prevent the smuggling of drugs.
