KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: The Misdemeanor Section in the Court of Appeals upheld the ruling of a lower court that acquitted a citizen of stealing the vehicle of his neighbor’s daughter, reports Al- Anba daily. The citizen was accused of putting the plate number of the supposedly stolen vehicle on his car to hide his identity as he engaged in reckless activities.

According to the plaintiff, her car broke down so she left it in front of her father’s house. However, she did not find the car when she returned to her father’s house after one week. Results of investigations showed that the defendant stole the car, but he denied it, saying he does not know who installed the plate number on his vehicle.
