Kuwait placed along side with Saudi, Iran and South Korea for the 17th Asian Youth Handball Cup

KUWAIT CITY, June 8: The Kuwait national team was placed in Group A along with the teams of Saudi Arabia, Iran and South Korea for the 17th Asian Youth Handball Championship to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from July 16 to 27. Member of the board of directors of the local federation for the game, Abdullah Diab, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) after the draw that took place today, Wednesday, that the youth team will leave the Kuwait at the end of this month, heading to Spain in a training camp in preparation for the tournament.

Diab added that, as of next week, the team will start its preparations and intensify its technical and physical training before the camp, hoping that the Kuwait youth will provide the desired level in the tournament. The second group includes Bahrain (hosts), Japan, India and Pakistan.(KUNA)
