Kuwait medical supplies arrive in Lebanon

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: The Ministry of Health stated in its tweet that urgent shipment of medical aid, including equipment, medicines and supplies were sent to Lebanon today on the directives of His Highness Deputy Amir, Sheikh Nawwaf Al-Ahmad. Huge explosion hit Beirut Port yesterday afternoon leaving 70 dead and more than 3000 injured.

The ministry had announced a joint coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare and transport the shipment in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense via a military plane, noting the direct follow-up from the Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah to complete the various procedures for preparing the shipment.
