Jan 26 concert to honor late composer Al Khedr

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 30: Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center will organize a concert on Jan 26, 2018 featuring the band led by Maestro Dr Mohamed Baqer to celebrate the anniversary of the late composer Rashid Al-Khedr, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Khedr was one of the prominent composers of Gulf songs in the 1980s. He was the man behind the songs of rising singers at the time like Abdullah Rewashed and Nabel Shuail until they joined the ranks of the most popular singers in the Gulf.

Meanwhile, actor Abdulrahman Al- Aql is still shooting his scenes in his new social drama entitled, “Etr Al- Rouh,” reports Al-Jaridah daily. Al-Aql also confirmed that he will once again be part of the play, “Weld Batnha,” along with actor Tariq Al- Ali. The play will be shown during the New Year holiday.
