Indian held with liquor – Filipina commits suicide

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 13: A Filipina housemaid is reported to have committed suicide in Qosour area by stabbing herself. The deceased was drenched in blood amid stab wounds in different parts of her body when Criminal Evidences Men found the body. Security sources said the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received report about the incident and dispatched officers from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Security Directorate to the scene, and steps were taken to remove the body. The case was registered as suicide.

Indian arrested: An Indian expatriate was arrested in Fahaheel area in possession of 167 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, Ahmadi securitymen were patrolling Fahaheel area late night when they stopped a vehicle for inspection and discovered that it was driven by an Indian expatriate. They checked the vehicle to find 167 bottles of locally manufactured liquor in the trunk of the vehicle.
