Indian caught on Kuwait airport smuggling hashish

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 23: During the Eid Al-Fitr holidays, customs officials at Kuwait’s T5 airport were successful in apprehending an Indian passenger attempting to smuggle nine pieces of hashish into the country. The narcotics were concealed on the individual in a clandestine manner while he was entering Kuwait from India.
In response to the incident, Mr. Sulaiman Al-Fahd, Director General of Customs, expressed his gratitude towards all the workers at various ports for their dedicated efforts in monitoring and preventing any attempts to compromise the security and safety of Kuwait.
