Increase in renewal fees of vehicle registration book

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 9: Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the Interior Ministry Major-General Jamal Al Sayegh has issued a circular to all General Traffic Departments in all Governorates to activate the Law No. 67 for the year 1976, and executive regulations No. 81 for the year 1976 related to the renewal fees of the registration book of the vehicles which states that fees for renewal of private vehicle is KD 5, heavy transport vehicles (bus) KD 15, private transport (mini bus) KD 10, private and public transport (pick up) KD 10, reports Al-Seyassah / Arab Times daily.

According to the circular, a copy of which has been obtained by the daily, the renewal of registration book for general transport of (cargo and animals) KD 20, renewal of tow trucks vehicles KD 10. The circular noted that the fees for duplicate (in case of loss) or damaged driving license is KD 10.
