KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah stressed on Sunday, the necessity of applying the law to everyone and apprehending criminals and violators of the residence law, calling for attention and constant vigilance and providing humanitarian and security assistance to everyone as soon as possible.
This came in a statement by the General Administration of Relations and Security Media after the Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior toured Kuwait International Airport T4 and a number of security points in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Khaitan, in order to review the preparations and readiness. Sheikh Talal Khaled praised the efficiency of the security men working at the airport and their ability to carry out the tasks and duties entrusted to them, stressing the need to harness all capabilities to serve travelers and work to complete their transactions with ease.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the security men for their great effort in order to apprehend violators and outlaws, stressing that the security men are the watchful eye on the security of the homeland and citizens.
The statement said that Sheikh Talal Khaled began his tour by inspecting Kuwait International Airport T4 and the hall of ceremonies, and was received by a number of security leaders, where he was briefed on the mechanism of procedures followed in entry and exit and cooperation between the security sectors and the General Administration of Customs within the framework of the integrated work system. He also inspected a number of security points in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, where he was received by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas, and was briefed on the readines, its work mechanism and the tasks it performs. The minister concluded his tour by inspecting the Khaitan area, and according to his instructions, a sudden security campaign and checkpoints were implemented at the entrances and exits of the area, and a number of violators were arrested.
