Illegal logging in agricultural area

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: The Environment Public Authority (EPA) recently received a report on illegal logging in an agricultural area; so its representatives along with that of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), Kuwait Municipality and Environmental Police visited the area which turned out to be a private agricultural land, reports Al-Anba daily.

The concerned authorities then contacted the complainant, resulting in the discovery that the video clip showing the illegal logging activity was taken two months ago. Therefore, EPA has appealed to environmental activists, citizens and expatriates to communicate with the concerned authorities as soon as they witness a violation of environment protection regulations through the following numbers: 157 – direct contact 92222157 – WhatsApp
