Illegal auction sites demolished

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality disclosed that the Emergency Team of Jahra Municipality, with the cooperation of Department of Public Hygiene and Road Works, launched a campaign on Salmi Road to remove all auction sites held on state properties, , reports Al-Anba daily. Head of the team Ali Al-Quwaidi explained that the emergency team had received several complaints from citizens regarding unlicensed auctions and sale of sheep on state properties. The team immediately dismantled and removed 15 sites of unauthorized auctions in addition to lifting about 104 square meters of waste materials
