Over-100 IT and design startups participate in workshop held in DubaiKUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: For the first time outside of China, Huawei has rolled out its ‘HUAWEI Developer Day’ workshop series bringing together the best smartphone developers across the Middle East & North Africa to announce HUAWEI developer alliance introduced in the region. The opening session was held in Dubai on 8 November, gathering more than 100 independent developer and design startups.Powered by the HUAWEI Developer Alliance, the workshops are aimed at providing developers with insights into HUAWEI App Gallery and HUAWEI Themes, through interactive presentations and competitions. Additionally, the HUAWEI Themes also supports billing and payment functions allowing designers and developers to upload their creations and receive payments.HUAWEI Developer Day workshops in MENA will be held in Jordan next month, followed by Egypt, Pakistan, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi – running until December 2019.
