Scores of illegals, wanted in various crimes including prostitution were arrested in raids conducted in all the six governorates. All those arrested have been referred to the concerned authorities for investigation and deportation from the country. Campaigns to weed out such persons will continue indefinitely, said a senior police officer.

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: Police rushed to a café in Salmiya after the Operations Unit in the Interior Ministry received information about a fight between eight girls while smoking shisha, reports Al-Rai daily. The girls were detained at Salmiya Police Station for some time. They were released after their fathers signed a pledge that they will ensure their daughters will not repeat the act in the future.

Selling ‘vibrators’: Security operatives attached to Ahmadi Command arrested a Bedoun youth selling vibrators (dildo) in Mahboula. He allegedly smuggled the materials into the country and sold them for KD 200-KD 500 to young men and women who engage in immoral acts.A security source said the youth was caught with four different sizes and colors of dildo while he was using Internet for the purchase deals to guarantee confidentiality after which he would deliver to interested buyers with his car.The public is warned against sale of such materials owing to its disastrous effects on family, social and moral lives of people, indicating the items are banned in Kuwait and the security apparatus will be ruthless with anybody caught in the act.
