Gang led by Pakistani expat faking accidents for compensations nabbed

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27: Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh securitymen have arrested a gang led by a Pakistani expatriate that was responsible for fabricating a number of traffic accidents in which they were victims, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, the chief of a police station became suspicious about a Pakistani expatriate who frequented the station more than once with complaints of being hit by a car. In the last report, he had lodged a complaint against an expatriate, accusing the latter of running over him with his car.

Investigations conducted by detectives revealed that the Pakistani suspect was leading a gang that fabricated the accidents to blackmail the victims into paying compensations by filing cases. The detectives obtained a video which confirmed that the gang was fabricating the accidents. When confronted with the evidences, the Pakistani suspect confessed to everything and revealed information about the rest of the gang members. Necessary action was taken.
