KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: Police have arrested a Filipino for forging contracts with a telecom company and purchasing 17 iPhone 7 Plus on installments, reports Al-Anba daily.

It has been reported the suspect managed to steal information about residents in Kuwait with the help of the password of a co-worker working in the shop without his knowledge from the archive of a telecom company. The daily mentioned the Filipino then sold the cell for 20 percent less the original price. During interrogation he has admitted to committing 13 crimes.

However, the daily has not provided the detailed information about how he managed to have access to the archive. A security source said the arrest came after a number of residents and Kuwaitis filed complaints when the telecom company contacted them and requesting them to settle their dues.
