Filipina maid commits suicide in custody

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: A 43 yr old Filipina maid committed suicide inside a cell in Jahra police station by hanging herself using her own clothes. Earlier the maid was arrested and was brought to the police station as she was not having her personal identification proof. Due to maintaining privacy in women’s cells there have been no surveillance cameras installed in women’s cells.

Public Security Undersecretary Maj. Gen. Farraj Al-Zoubi ordered investigation into the case to find the cause of suicide and report as soon as possible.
