Father, sons beat cop

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: Three people, a father and his two sons (one of them a 15-year-old and the other 20) have been arrested and referred to the Prosecution for assaulting a traffic policemen (a lieutenant), reports Al-Anba daily. This happened when the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a call that two young men were involved in a scuffle in a suburb of Rawdah.

According to police the two young men had parked their vehicle in front of the house of a Kuwaiti which blocked the vehicle of the Kuwaiti and when the Kuwaiti asked the man behind the wheel to move away, the two men got of the vehicle and verbally abused the Kuwaiti. When a police patrol was rushed to the spot, the youngster assaulted one of the men in uniform and the duo was later joined by their Iraqi father, born in 1965, who continued verbally abusing the Kuwaiti. The suspects are charged with assaulting police and resisting arrest.
