Family pulled out ‘alive’ from rubble

KUWAIT CITY, April 19: An Asian family of three, who was trapped under the rubble of the house they were living in, was rescued by firemen from the Al-Bida fire center and personnel from the Technical Rescue Centers, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Personnel from the Directorate- General of Fire Department (DGFD) said it received a call at dawn about the accident and immediately the force was sent to the accident site.

The DGFD indicated the firemen and personnel from the rescue center rescued the family from under the rubble and paramedics rushed them to a hospital. The fire-fighting teams have opened an investigation to know how the annex of the house which was allegedly being renovated caved in.
