Expats from high-risk countries are not allowed to enter Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 4 Expatriates from highrisk countries for corona are not allowed to enter Kuwait; except the doctors, diplomats or those who obtained an entry permit from the Corona Committee, reports Al-Anba daily quoting governmental sources.

Sources disclosed the Ministry of Health specified the high-risk countries as follows: India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka; noting that the decision to allow travelers from these countries to enter directly will be specified in circulars that the ministry will issue later. On increasing the number of passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport to more than 5,000 daily; sources disclosed the airport has not reached the current maximum as the number of arrivals in the last few days did not exceed 3,000 per day.
