Egyptian doctor accused of killing woman; son files suit

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: A 22-year old Kuwaiti citizen filed a case against an Egyptian doctor of Al- Salaam Hospital, accusing the latter of killing his mother who was a patient receiving treatment from the doctor.

According to security sources, the citizen went to the police station with a medical report, stating that his mother died of a medical error committed by the Egyptian doctor. The corpse has been referred to the Forensic Department and a case was registered for investigations.

Magic love beads: Personnel from Criminal Investigation have arrested an unidentified Yemeni for selling magic love beads said to be costing KD 300, reports Al-Shahed daily. The arrest came after the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received information about the suspect following which police set a trap for him and caught him red-handed selling beads to a police agent. The investigation report shows the man owns a shop selling and he took advantage of the shop to lure customers into black magic. He has been handed over to the concerned to prepare his deportation from the country
