KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: Security operatives from Ahmadi nabbed a citizen involved in KD 20,000 financial offense for possessing illicit drug known as ‘chemical’, Shabu and equipment for administering narcotics, says Al-Seyassah.

The arrest followed instructions issued by the Assistant Undersecretary of Interior Ministry Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah to pursue violators of law to ensure security.

A security source said the officers arrested an Egyptian expatriate wanted for defaulting KD 5,000 debt, in addition to two Kuwaitis caught in possession of 224 narcotic pills after security operatives pulled them up for reckless driving and impounded their vehicle.

Meanwhile, Hawalli securitymen apprehended a Kuwaiti citizen for the possession of illicit drug and its paraphernalia, while officers from Mubarak Al-Kabeer took into custody three citizens sentenced in absentia to 3-5 years imprisonment respectively
